Over 25 years ago, Eiichiro Oda published the very first volume of One Piece. At that time, he probably wasn’t aware of how successful the franchise would eventually become. Due to the massive success, Oda is one of the richest mangaka in the world. During a tour of his house, he shows what he spent all that money on.
What kind of stuff does he have in his house? Oda allowed a television crew into his home and showed what curious items he has bought with his fortune. He said that people would enjoy his “ridiculous drawings,” so he decided to buy “ridiculous things” from them.

How rich is Eiichiro Oda? Oda tops the list of the richest mangaka in the world. He even has a greater fortune than the creator of Dragon Ball. According to CBR, the mangaka has an estimated net worth of around 200 to 230 million dollars, which is about 184 to 212 million euros.
- In 2nd place among the richest mangaka is Rumiko Takahashi, the only woman in the top 10. Her fortune is estimated at 60-70 million dollars. Her biggest successes are Inu Yasha and Ranma ½.
- In 3rd place is Akira Toriyama. The mangaka has since passed away, but during his lifetime, he reportedly had a fortune of 55 million dollars. His biggest success is Dragon Ball.
