Next week, a new class will be introduced in one of the largest MMORPGs on Steam. Just before that, there are now official details about it, as well as the opinion of a well-known streamer.
- Lost Ark is an MMORPG that launched in South Korea in 2019 and has been distributed here by Amazon Games since 2022.
- The gameplay is very similar to Diablo 3, but includes many essential MMORPG elements such as dungeons, raids, crafting, housing, and PvP.
- In addition to its beautiful gameplay, it shines with a good story and is regularly spiced up by scripted scenes.
On March 13, 2024, there were now official details about a new class that will be playable starting March 20, 2024 (via playlostark.com). What class it is and whether it might be something for you will be revealed here.

What class is this? In Lost Ark, the advanced class “Breaker” is expected to be available next week. The video already made it clear that this is a class that can definitely pack a punch and enjoys facing its opponents head-on.
Who is the Breaker worth it for? On the official page, there were not only detailed information about the new class but also the opinion of Saintone, a well-known Lost Ark streamer. He mentions: “The Breaker is really a fun class. As someone who really likes monk archetypes in video games, this was exactly my thing.”
So if you like to choose the monk in other games, the Breaker could be just the right class for you in Lost Ark. He also describes the Breaker as “the class fantasy of a real brawler” and says that this class is just right if you want to simply approach an opponent and beat him up.

Stamina, Shock, and Persistence Display
- When using stamina skills, your stamina display decreases, but the shock display increases – and vice versa. Similar to the Scrapper class.
- The persistence display fills up through successful hits with skills. When it’s full, you can activate the Fist King stance. This allows you to fight faster.
Fist King Stance
- In Fist King stance, you get +10% attack speed and the cooldown of movement skills is reset.
- The stance enhances the standard attack and increases the damage dealt by group members for 10 seconds by 6%.
- Once the last standard attack is landed, the cooldown of stamina skills and shock skills is reduced by -5%.
Asura State
- When using the engraving “Path of Asura,” you can activate this state with 100% Asura energy. You switch from the fighting spirit effect to the Sura destruction effect.
- Here too, the damage by group members increases by 6% for 10 seconds.
- Standard attacks are enhanced and the damage increases based on critical hit probability.
- Sura destruction also increases skill damage, including awakening. Movement speed increases by 15%.
