The launch of EA Sports FC 24 is getting closer. One of the biggest FIFA streamers in Germany has praised the new chemistry system highly.
According to GamerBrother, two important changes are responsible for making team-building in FC 24 as creative and good as never before.

FC 24 Ultimate Team: Icons will become valuable again
We ourselves were at the presentation of FC 24 in Amsterdam and reported that icons will play a significant role in the chemistry system again. This observation has now also been confirmed by GamerBrother, one of Germany’s biggest FIFA streamers, in a video.
What makes icons valuable again? After heroes icons had more or less taken the place of icons in FIFA 23, the value of icon cards could rise again. This is mainly due to their adjusted value for the chemistry system.
What influence do icons have on chemistry in FC 24? Aside from two points for nationality, an icon in FC 24 also raises the level of any league for team-building by one level.
How can you effectively use icons for team-building in FC 24? It sounds more complicated than it is. Simply put, you only need two icons to give each player at least one chemistry point.
And it gets even better. To get the so-called perfect links (two players from the same club and country) to full chemistry, you only need a single icon in your team to get all perfect links to full chemistry.

Will icons become more expensive again? But not only the value of icons for the chemistry system is skyrocketing due to this change, but also the monetary value on the transfer market is expected to rise again, as icons will now be much more in demand than in FIFA 23.
Position modifiers will be removed from Ultimate Team
Another change concerns the position modification cards in Ultimate Team. These will belong to the past from FC 24.
How do position adjustments work without modification cards? While you previously had to manually switch players’ positions with such a card, the player now automatically adjusts to the positions they are deployed in, provided they have those positions in their repertoire of alternatives.
What advantages does this change bring for the draft mode? In FIFA 23, the draft mode came under criticism with the introduction of the new chemistry system. Too often, players were assigned to positions that were not present in the chosen draft formation and thus could not contribute to the chemistry system.
For example, icon Ruud Gullit had no added value for the chemistry system on the MS position if the formation did not include an MS.
However, since Gullit can also be deployed as a ZM, ZOM, or ST, in FC 24 it is possible to place him in one of his alternative positions to make him useful for team building and chemistry.
