What kind of streamer is he? The Korean Twitch streamer Albert “ATK” Kim is one of the largest streamers for Lost Ark. He has been active since the release in 2018 and streams the MMORPG several times a week on his channel.
He averages 2,321 concurrent viewers and currently has 91,000 followers on the platform. He has also been active on YouTube for years, publishing several videos per week for his nearly 50,000 subscribers that focus thematically on Lost Ark.
He often focuses on guides and unusual builds for all classes in Lost Ark. He likes to show that a Paladin can deal damage or that unusual engravings can work better than many think.
In one of his streams, he also addressed the criticism of many western players who claim that there are classes in Lost Ark that are simply too weak.

“There are no weak classes”
What does the streamer say now? During a stream, ATK apparently got fed up with the complaining of western players. He still plays in the Korean version, by the way. He accuses the fans of the western version of complaining too much and thinking too much about which class might be too weak.
Instead, he says that there are absolutely no weak classes and that if you feel a class is too weak, you’re just playing it poorly. This is specifically a problem of western players, according to the streamer.
“Everyone complains a little, but in the western version, this happens continuously. You know, it’s constantly said that practically every class is too weak. And they don’t realize that this weakness of the class actually comes from them simply playing poorly, and not from the class itself. And we have to keep telling them this. “

Community reacts divided but admits mistakes
What do the players say about it? In the comments under the video, a discussion breaks out on the topic, with some players also owning up to their mistakes.
- NM Geek writes: “People who always play well are very positive about everything. People who play poorly, like me, complain about everything to hide how bad they are. It feels better to complain about other things than about my own inability. I should just be more positive, like you.”
- DankeyKang sees it divided: “All classes are good, with a decent build, that’s a fact. But pretending that all classes are completely balanced and equally good, I don’t know, that’s really hard.”
- Brian Reynolds simply left the game: “You can’t blame the class if you can’t unleash its potential. I haven’t found a character that suits me and that I can do that with, so I just decided to leave Lost Ark. And I did.”
- LazyGuy sees it balanced: “I think you can’t push that onto all players. Some classes are just easier to play than others.”
Of course, there are also some voices saying that he is completely wrong and that the classes are indeed weak. However, there are many who agree with ATK.
New classes every 2 months
What about the classes for us? Some people comment that the balance of the classes is based on Korea, and there are simply more classes there than here in the west. However, this may not be the case for much longer, as we receive a new class every two months.
Only with the July update did the Arcanist debut, and already in September we can expect the next new class in our Lost Ark. If AGS, as announced, keeps this rhythm, we can expect 2 more new classes this year.
Since we currently lack 5 classes to catch up with Korea, our Lost Ark should equal the Korean original in no more than two years. By then, the argument would be moot – but whether it will really happen remains to be seen.
