- Before the final version of the chapter was created, King Cobra said: “Raise the flag of the dawn in a sinking world.”
- In the current version, it says: “Raise the flag that announces the dawn of the world.”
The sentence changed because Oda pushed a speech bubble in front of another. As a result, the part of the sentence related to the sinking world was covered. X-user pewpiece shows in a tweet how the speech bubble has shifted:
In the English version, the part is completely missing. The “sinking world” was probably too much for Oda at the end, which is why he changed the sentence in the final version. He had hinted at what readers of the manga are only now finding out.
