What is the “Left Finger of gLoVa? Actually, most weapons in Dying Light 2 are melee weapons, which can only be repaired with this trick. Guns are extremely rare. Yet, a true super weapon is a “pistol”, but a very special one.
Because the “Left Finger of gLoVa” is actually just a “finger pistol”. So, a gesture where you shape your hand like a gun and aim your index finger at the opponent while saying “Bang” loudly. Pretty much every kid has played cops and robbers like this before.
And those who know the legendary adventure “Tales from the Borderlands” will surely remember the legendary “Finger Gunfights”, with which the employees of Hyperion enhanced their dreary office life.
But unlike in children’s games or in Borderlands, the finger gun in Dying Light 2 is a real killer weapon that usually shreds your opponents into a thousand pieces with a “shot”. So how do you get the thing?
How to get the finger pistol “Left Finger of gLoVa”
What you need to do first: The secret room with the blueprints for the finger weapon is located in the Garrison District in the southwest of the city. However, you should first complete the mission “Broadcast”. During this mission, you will receive the grappling hook. This is essential for reaching the secret room.
How to reach the secret room: First, climb the VCN Tower again; fortunately, this is quite easy with the winch that is now at street level (near the hideout). Then use the elevator to get back to the top.
Once you’re back at the top of the skyscraper, you must glide with the glider to the skyscraper with the large antenna in the southwest.
There, you can expect some miserable climbing where you have to connect various cables to finally open the secret Easter egg room with your key.

But be careful, as soon as you open the secret room, a disgusting Boomer Zombie staggers towards you. So make sure to neutralize the nasty creature so it doesn’t blow you up and ruin your progress.
Once you have survived the zombie, you can enjoy Easter eggs in the developer’s secret room and admire previous games by Techland. As soon as you get comfortable on the bed with the plush toys, the blueprint for the Left Hand of gLoVa will appear in the Techland poster.
How to build the finger gun: Once you have the blueprints, you can build the Ginger cannon with a proud 369 scrap parts. But use it wisely, as after 16 “shots” the miracle weapon is gone again, and you will have to build it again.
What are the backgrounds of the weapon? The name of the weapon comes from lead designer Bartosz “Glova” Kulon. Those who know Techland games may have found the “Left Hand of gLoVa” in Dead Island or discovered the “Right Hand of gLoVa” in the first Dying Light. Therefore, the latest version of this Easter egg weapon is referred to here as the “Left Finger of gLoVa”.
