Who is TZPokemon98? A few days ago, we reported on his 500 km challenge. However, this is just one of his many goals that he has achieved. Currently, he is the player with the most catches and evolutions in Germany, at least among the known players.
TZ comes from Wertingen, a place with nearly 9000 inhabitants. He proves that the size of a town is not a determining factor to play Pokémon GO effectively.
This is how TZPokemon98 plays effectively
The trainer revealed to us: TZ often plays in his small town and does not leave it to play effectively. He lays out a fixed route and knows exactly what time he needs to start walking to catch the most Pokémon.
His round lasts exactly one hour. This way, he always starts again at the same spot at the right time and can take the same amount of spawns. With this principle, he catches about 150 Pokémon per hour.
The only criticism TZ mentions is that he quickly runs out of Poké Balls there. Therefore, he often goes to Augsburg, where he takes the bus. There, he has a similar round, where he catches between 150 and 160 Pokémon. The spawns do not differ significantly. However, he stocks up on Poké Balls there, as there are more PokéStops.
What can be learned from this? TZ is the best example that you do not have to live in a big city to play effectively. You just need to know the spawns in your town.
So explore your town and see where the most Pokémon appear. Create a good route from it and stick to it. This way, you can play effectively even in the smallest town.
Is TZ the best trainer in Germany? This is always hard to determine. If one measures the best trainer by catches, TZ is number 1.
However, he does not have the most XP. The player “EeveeJoerg92” is ahead of all other German players. He now has over 540 million XP. That is the maximum level 40×27.
Of course, one has to keep in mind that there is no official leaderboard. Players always enter themselves in a board. Although all known players who play so successfully gather in the board, there can still be someone who does not register.
What achievements has TZ achieved? Apart from the 500 km he walked in one week, TZ has achieved many other goals.
He has completed over 100,000 evolutions in total. Additionally, in the past month, he made the most XP globally and caught the second most Pokémon. Only HelsinkiTrolli was ahead of him, whom we also reported on.
Much XP must also have been granted by his over 400 best friends that he has accumulated by now.
