What is the gameplay like in The Forest? The game is divided into individual sessions where you act within the story and pursue an overarching goal: to find Timmy. Depending on the decisions you make, the ending of the game changes.
You gather important resources for survival from your surroundings, ensure food and build a base.
Along your explorations, you also get to know the island better and can learn more about the background of this mysterious place.
However, the island is also inhabited by mutant creatures and cannibals who want to finish you off. Therefore, you need to craft defenses like traps or weapons and adequately protect your base from threats.
The game also has a multiplayer feature, and you can play The Forest both alone and in co-op with your friends.
