In Call of Juarez, released by Techland in 2013, you take on the role of the bounty hunter Silas Greaves, who has aged and tells stories of his adventures.
Throughout the story, you fight notorious bandits of the Wild West and encounter characters like Billy the Kid and Jesse James. You engage in battles with old-fashioned rifles and participate in quick-draw duels – the faster draw wins.
Sometimes, however, old Silas’s memory falters a bit, and he has to correct his tales in the middle of a level, which may change some details.

What does Call of Juarez offer? In the nearly five-hour-long main story, you can unlock some skills to improve your gunslinger and use a focus mode that temporarily slows down actions and highlights enemies in red. Additionally, your bounty hunter has a sort of sixth sense that lets you anticipate and dodge a deadly bullet.
After completing the shooter’s story, you can experience it again in a “New Game+” with your learned skills on a higher difficulty level. There is also an arcade mode where you need to complete a selection of levels and earn points to climb the leaderboards, as well as a duel mode.
