Perkz hasn’t just discovered his hatred for cats anew, but nurtures and harbors this grudge. Already in June 2020, Perkz made it clear on Twitter: “Delete the cat!”
What’s up with Yuumi? The cat Yuumi came to LoL in May 2019. She is a support character in the botlane. Yuumi can heal her AD carry and make herself invulnerable by hopping onto a partner and casting her abilities there. The partner, usually the ADC, then takes over the movement for the cat as well.
The champ is seen by some LoL players – like Perkz – as “unskilled” because you don’t have to pay attention to movement, but can focus only on abilities. A streamer even controlled Yuumi just with his feet and was able to play two champs at the same time.
However, Yuumi has a significant influence on the match. The champ is therefore criticized as “low skill – high reward”. A champ with which even not-so-good players can achieve a lot.
Perkz also seems to be annoyed that he can’t just pick off and eliminate the supporter with damage.

Yuumi is an extraordinary champ in LoL. Interestingly, he is perceived completely differently in various regions. In Europe, he is considered a strong, annoying pick in the botlane. In Korea, however, he hardly plays a role in solo queue. This is due to the different playstyles of the regions:
Why Yuumi shows that cool Koreans play LoL very differently than we do
The player Luka “Perkz” Perković is considered one of the best players of League of Legends worldwide. As a midlaner and botlaner, he is the pivot for the European champions in LoL, G2 Esports. But there is one LoL champ he hates to the core, the grinning cat Yuumi. Riot messed up the champion, he demands, and they should realize this and just delete him from LoL.
Who is he? The Croatian Luka Perković (21) is probably the best LoL player outside of Asia and is among the best players in the world.
He has dominated in Europe for the team G2 Esports since he was a teenager starting in 2016 in the midlane. Perkz holds the record for LEC championships with 7 titles in 9 seasons.
However, the team has not won any titles internationally. Therefore, Perkz decided to switch to the botlane in 2019, and brought his fiercest competitor in Europe, the Dane Rasmus “Caps” Winther, to his own team.
This kind of role swap is something that practically never occurs at this level in LoL. But Perkz accepted the new identity as a botlaner, called himself Uma Jan, celebrated it and played really well.
With this new formation, they reached the finals of the Worlds in 2019 and only had to succumb to the Chinese exceptional team FunPlus Phoenix.

Everyone hates Yuumi, but everyone has to play her
This champ is hated by Perkz: The champ that Perkz cannot cope with at all is the support champ Yuumi. He explained this recently in a question-and-answer session on YouTube:
“I really don’t like Yuumi. I will never get tired of talking about Yuumi and how annoying she is and how stupid Riot made this champ. I really wish Riot would admit they messed up and just remove the champ from the game.”
Perkz
There is nothing more annoying than when this little cat jumps from champion to champion while remaining invulnerable the whole time. That is “unskilled and anti-fun,” explains Perkz.
He further stated: Everyone hates to play Yuumi, everyone hates to play against Yuumi, but she is so overpowered that you just have to play her.
