Professional player Timothy “Bizzle” Miller is considered one of the most talented players in Fortnite overall. However, he is struggling with Season 3. He has issues with lag and the many NPCs in the game. But he has identified a new mythical weapon as his main problem: the Shock Grenade Launcher. It is ruining his game.
This is bothering Bizzle: The American Bizzle competes for the FaZe Clan and is regarded as an outstanding player in Fortnite. In June 2019, he was performing so well that he played the World Championship qualifiers without weapons and still won several rounds. But at the moment, he is dissatisfied with the state of Fortnite. He is frustrated with Epic Games, reaches out to their eSports head and demands radical changes.
He believes there is now so much special gimmickry in Fortnite that it seriously impacts the gameplay of professionals. Bizzle thinks that the many new ideas with sharks, helicopters, or NPC groups rampaging across the field lead to Fortnite being too laggy. Especially for competitive play, where everything revolves around building, editing, and gaining height advantage, this is a problem.
He also finds the new weapons of the Season 3 such as the charged shotgun or the P90 far too strong.
According to Bizzle, Epic needs to remove all these gimmicks and innovations from Fortnite.
The weapon ruins the way Bizzle and his team play
This weapon annoys him particularly: Bizzle sees his main frustration with Season 3 in a the 6 new mythical weapons: the Shock Grenade Launcher. The item can be obtained from the mini-boss Kit at Catty Corner.
The Shock Grenade Launcher works like the old shockwave grenades. A shot with the weapon does no damage but pushes enemies back, or you can use it to jump into the air.
The Fortnite streamer SypherPk has found ways to use Kit’s grenade launcher for stylish kills.
According to Bizzle, this item is completely dominant in competitive play. He says they lost the last trio match because two in the team were shot from above.
As a result of the ensuing frustration, their trio has now disbanded.
Before Season 3, their trio dominated everything, but the Shock Grenade Launcher has completely overturned their way of playing. In every game where you have a height advantage or steal the opponent’s height advantage, this mythical weapon would ruin everything.
Every professional player knows what a joke Fortnite currently is.
The new gimmicks and PvE elements are a burden for pros
Here’s the background: Epic Games has strengthened the PvE elements in Fortnite: Battle Royale starting with Season 2. There are now mini-bosses that drop mythical loot. There is only one of each of these weapons and items per match. These special items break the “normal rules” of Fortnite.
This leads to significant changes in the match. The weapon that Bizzle hates so much turns every height advantage upside down because it can shoot teams down from above.
The idea behind the mythical weapons is that those teams who invest resources early and take the risk of killing one of the 3 bosses get a reward.
Teams must adjust their strategies to the new circumstances with each new season. Bizzle is currently frustrated that his previous “winning strategy” of using height advantage and strong building skills is no longer as effective.

Bizzle has long been among the best Fortnite players in the world. But even he can have a bad day. He once played with world champion Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf and Danny “Dubs” Walsh and came up with the idea to challenge the Twitch star, Turner “Tfue” Tenney, in Fortnite:
Tfue solo defeats 3 of the best Fortnite players in the world – then freaks out
