The successful and popular MMO War Thunder is getting a makeover. With a graphics update, the online game aims to be not only prettier but also more realistic.
What’s in this update? The update “New Power” introduces the Dagor Engine version 6.0 to the online game. This brings a series of visual improvements, making War Thunder graphically a next-gen game.
However, the developers emphasize that War Thunder should not only look better. The game should feel more realistic. This is achieved by
- Damage to the vehicles now being displayed based on the angle of impact of a projectile.
- Projectiles can also be seen embedded in the armor.
- Additionally, vehicles now burn more intensely and
- airplanes explode more spectacularly and
