In Fortnite you could soon play against each other on a familiar map. However, you probably know it from the shooter CS:GO.
This is the map: Apparently, some players have managed to create a detailed Fortnite version of the legendary CS:GO map “Dust 2.” The responsible team from Team Evolve shared the results of their work on Twitter – and the similarity is clearly recognizable:
Team Evolve used only the Creative Mode tools to create the accurate copy, according to a report from “TheLoadout.” There is currently no fixed release date, but the map is expected to go live in the coming days according to Team Evolve. This could happen before the end of the current season.
“Dust 2” is also said to be usable in the “Search and Destroy” mode, which is somewhat based on CS:GO. In this mode, two teams compete against each other. One team tries to plant a bomb. The other team must try to prevent this or defuse the bomb.
The team that achieves its respective goal or eliminates all opposing players wins the round. In total, one must win four out of seven rounds. Throughout the matches, players earn gold that can be used for better equipment, shields, and building materials. On “Dust 2,” Desert Eagle pistols are also expected to be used more frequently.
Perfect conditions for an unofficial crossover between CS:GO and Fortnite. The map should also be usable in other modes.
“Dust 2” joins a range of great maps that players have already created in Creative Mode. There are also quite strong maps for the “Hide & Seek” mode that you should check out:
