Maomao, the frog, and the man’s best part

What happens in the frog scene? The scene occurs in manga chapter 63 and at the end of the 3rd volume of the light novel. Jinshi and Maomao, the two protagonists of the anime, are suddenly attacked in the forest. They save themselves by jumping into a waterfall. They are soaked, but find a protective cave.
As the two try to escape the cave, Maomao climbs onto Jinshi’s shoulders. A frog jumps onto her head, causing both to lose their balance and fall. During this, Maomao’s hand lands in Jinshi’s groin, and she realizes that he is not actually a eunuch. To protect his identity, Maomao pretends she hasn’t noticed anything.
Why is she so popular? This scene intensifies the relationship between Maomao and Jinshi even more. She uncovers his biggest secret, which requires a lot of trust. Additionally, it’s simply a funny moment involving intimacy.
What is a eunuch? In Imperial China, it was common for many courts to have palace eunuchs. These are male individuals who underwent castration, during which parts or even the entire male reproductive organs were removed.
The purpose of the castration was to ensure that there would be no heirs in the imperial palace that were not born of the emperor. If it were revealed that Jinshi is not a eunuch, it would likely lead to many difficulties. Therefore, Maomao prefers to remain silent to protect him and his true identity.
