In Once Human, there are many resources and one rare resource is “Refined Parts” that you can find while looting. We will show you locations here if you have difficulties finding them.
How to get Refined Parts: There are two methods to obtain Refined Parts:
- You are lucky when opening supply crates in buildings and at locations
- You dismantle loot from items you pick up on your travels
A good place for this is the large area near the Iron River, east of the map. Look for areas like “Pollution Inspection 77” or “East Blackfell Junction” and search the surroundings. If you do not find any crates at these locations, you can also pick up the surrounding trash found in cabinets.
You then bring the trash to a dismantling bench where you can dismantle collected items. Throw in everything you have picked up as junk and take out the items that are left after dismantling.
Other places in the Iron River like the “Highland” are teeming with strong enemies, but they have many stores and areas that contain items which can drop Refined Parts.
Note that these areas of the map are meant for players above level 28. You can start explorations earlier, but be prepared to be quickly eliminated.
Why do I need Refined Parts: The Refined Parts are important for the crafting of various items in your camp. Many workbenches, including the “Advanced Equipment Workbench” or “Synthesis Workbench” need these materials to be built. You unlock the blueprints for them under Memetics, which you can find in the “Cradle” menu. Therefore, it is important to have a little buffer of Refined Parts accumulated.
