Once Human is facing criticism from frustrated players who want to play together with their friends on a server. The problem: There are too many servers and too little space on them.
What is the criticism? Once Human has been struggling with problems repeatedly. Especially the servers are causing frustration among players. On one hand, they are too small and fill up quickly – so obviously no new players can join.
But according to the community, the number of servers is also a problem. There simply are not enough players to fill the many servers properly. But where exactly lies the problem?
Inactive players block server spots
What do the players say? User xAthes describes the problem on Reddit. Initially, the limited spots on the servers are a big problem. Especially because many of them are occupied by players who aren’t actively playing Once Human.
There are many accounts that have no interest in playing the game regularly and only check in for one or two runs. Even worse are the players who are no longer playing at all. The Reddit user SleepingFishOCE demands in a separate Reddit post that such players simply be deleted.
xAthes describes how he often has to wait over an hour before he can join a group. The many servers lack active players. The kills the game
and raises the question of why there aren’t fewer, but larger servers. After all, Once Human is a multiplayer game. xAthes asks: “Why are there so many worlds?”

However, just a week later the situation looks different. Again, many are inactive and the multiplayer fun is missing. This frustrates him and other users. They are calling on the developers to rethink the server system:

- “The biggest problem for me is that I have to start over every time a friend wants to play because the servers are locked,” describes Spexan on Reddit.
- “I haven’t seen a single player on my server since the first day of Phase 1,” tells blyndluckomega on Reddit.
