Aluminum is an important resource in Once Human that you need for crafting weapons and building various devices. To obtain aluminum bars, you first need aluminum ore, certain tools, and machines.
This is how you get aluminum ore: You can obtain aluminum ore in various ways. Primarily, by going out yourself and mining the ore. Another option is to set a mutation in your base that farms for you.

Aluminum Ore: Location and Mining
Where can I find aluminum ore? To find aluminum ore, you need to progress into the area “Chalk Peak” (Level 32). During the main quest, you will reach the Tall Grass Inn and unlock the teleportation there. Exit the inn via the main road heading north. On the left side, you will find several aluminum ore nodes that you can farm (Coordinates: 3015, -4713).
Because resources spawn so quickly in Once Human, you can really mine a lot of ore there. If you find several nodes and spend about half an hour there, you can farm around 1,000 aluminum ore. Besides aluminum ore, you will also find tin ore, iron ore, and copper ore.
How do I mine aluminum ore? To mine aluminum ore, you need a steel pickaxe. You must first unlock it in your memetics. Then you craft the steel pickaxe from 10 steel bars and 3 hide at the Advanced Equipment Workbench. You craft steel bars from iron ore in the furnace.

The second option is to use the mutation “Elemental Youth” in your base. Once you have captured or obtained the little guy, you can put him in the “Isolated Security Cell”. He will then search for ores and mine them for you. You collect the ore in the security cell.
