The first season of Apex Legends is apparently coming to an end after some difficulties. But EA is already promising new information about Season 2, which is supposed to come soon. Some information and speculations are already available.
What happens on June 7? EA will have a small appearance at the E3 2019. However, the company will not hold a press conference there to present new games.
Instead, the “EA Play” event is supposed to take place, in which various games will be in the spotlight, showing news and discussing them. Among them is also Apex Legends, for which the second season is expected to be announced.
Apex Legends Season 2: What’s inside?
This new legend brings Season 2: It is already confirmed that Season 2 will definitely introduce a new legend to the game, similar to what Season 1 did with Octane. However, which one exactly is still not known.
Many informations, dataminings, and also comments from famous streamers like Shroud suggest that it will be the legend “Wattson”. Wattson is supposed to work with electricity and traps. The suspected abilities include:
- a tactical ability that could charge or strengthen shields
- an ultimate ability “Tesla Trap” that shocks enemies
- a currently unknown passive ability
None of the abilities have been confirmed yet and these are speculations about how they will work. However, Shroud has already stated specifically about the new legend that she will be “not that crazy”, “cool, but not too crazy and rather situational.”
What’s in the Battle Pass? So far, there is even less information about the Battle Pass. However, the last Battle Pass of Apex Legends for Season 1 was received so poorly that a revision would please many fans.
Recently, Respawn has shown openness to criticism, listened to the fans, communicated better and received great praise from the community for it. Therefore, it is hoped that this criticism will also be applied to the new Battle Pass.
