In Call of Duty: Warzone, some players recently trudged towards victory with ease. A glitch made them invincible. The developers are working on the issue.
What is this glitch? Normally, winning in Battle Royale, given the tough competition on the map of Call of Duty: Warzone, is a tough challenge. Absorbing absolutely no damage is understandably a rather helpful state.
And exactly that was achieved by some players due to a glitch. For example, you can see in this video how such an invincibility glitch made players – well, invincible:
The player is not stopped by ammunition, melee attacks, or anything else thanks to the glitch. For the other players, that is naturally a problem. Against such glitch opponents, one cannot even compete with the best mechanics that every good player should know in Warzone. Accordingly, the developers are now stepping in.
Developers disable problematic contracts
How the glitch occurred: As the player describes in his video, the glitch occurred in connection with a Most Wanted contract. He apparently became invincible right when he, at the end of the expiring contract, was supposed to die. The developers from Raven Software have since confirmed the connection via a tweet:
This is what the developers are doing now: As Raven Software explains, the “Most Wanted contracts” have been temporarily disabled in the Verdansk BR playlist. It is therefore currently a workaround to neutralize this “God Mode” bug. The problem is currently being investigated further. When the issue will be resolved and the Most Wanted contracts will return is still open.
This is not the first time that Warzone has struggled with a form of invincibility glitch. The notorious Stim glitch has repeatedly caused problems and simply did not want to disappear for a long time.
Currently, this is not possible. Once the contracts return, we will keep you updated here. However, the new season in Warzone is set to be released soon. Everything we know about Season 3 of CoD Cold War & Warzone can be found here.
