This was the situation regarding Battlefield 6: In 2021, the Battlefield series is expected to get a new installment – Battlefield 6. However, official information has been scarce so far.
Leaks and rumors speak of a modern setting, recently leaked alleged images support these claims. Moreover, there are supposed to be significantly larger maps, more destruction physics, and higher player counts in matches. The new Battlefield is said to be increasingly inspired by one of the best installments – namely Battlefield 3. And actually, rumors also mentioned that the game should be officially revealed in May, but lately, the supposed hints have intensified (through potential leaked audio lines from the trailer).
At least regarding the reveal timeframe, there is now official certainty.
Battlefield 6 will be unveiled in June
This is now the announcement: Recently, there has finally been official information about the highly anticipated Battlefield 6. The official Twitter account of the game revealed with a pun when the new title is to be presented. In June 2021, it will finally go “Boom”.
So, you won’t have to wait much longer for the official presentation; the reveal is indeed just around the corner. But it is a bit longer than the leaks that already mentioned May.
When exactly will the Battlefield 6 reveal take place? Currently, there is no more precise date from official sources. However, EA’s “EA Play Live” event is scheduled from June 12 to 15, where new games will be presented, among other things. It is quite likely and reasonable that Battlefield 6 could be officially revealed during this event.
