The open beta of Delta Force has launched today on Steam and Epic Games. While many players are heading into battle, there is a major criticism regarding the installation of the game.
What is Delta Force? Delta Force is a multiplayer shooter that will be released for free and is funded via microtransactions. While the game is being developed by Team Jade, the TiMi Studio Group, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, is responsible for publishing.

Today, the open beta for Delta Force has been released. While the beta was able to attract many players right away, there is also a major criticism within the community that does not relate to the game itself.
Caution during installation
What is the community criticizing? During the installation of Delta Force, the anti-cheat program ACE is installed at the kernel level of your operating system. It is not only installed, but it also remains on your computer by default, even if you uninstall the game itself.
ACE is an anti-cheat program developed by Tencent. It has often faced criticism in the past for remaining on the computer. The program has also been accused of collecting and selling all data.
On Steam, you can find correspondingly outraged players who rate Delta Force negatively due to the use of this software and express their displeasure.
For example, the player Getty writes: “The game installs a kernel-level anti-cheat without informing [..] After uninstalling the game, the kernel-level anti-cheat is NOT removed. I can still see all files in C:ProgramsAntiCheatExpert and all services (AnticheatExpert Protection, AnticheatExpert Service) on my PC. DO NOT INSTALL THIS GAME.”
High player numbers: Despite this criticism, the game seems to have generated a lot of interest among players so far. On Steamcharts.com, the game currently ranks 10th among the games with the most simultaneous players with 86,711 players.
