One of the most important leakers for Call of Duty: Warzone has announced new details and a name for the mysterious Nuke Event.
What’s new? The leaker TheGamingRevolution released new details about the Nuke Event in Warzone. Although the event has not yet been officially announced, players firmly believe that it will take place. According to player theory, a nuclear weapon will destroy the entire map or parts of it. This would make way for a new map on which future Warzone games will be played.
The new information from the leaker supports this theory. He mentioned the name of the event and further details.
On Twitter, TheGamingRevolution writes:
- The Nuke Event in Warzone is called “Rebirth” [Also Resurrection]
- The Soviet version of Alcatraz coming to Warzone is likely Rebirth Island
In the past, TheGamingRevolution correctly predicted things like the first gameplay leak that later occurred in Warzone.
What do the leaks mean?
This is explained by the information: According to the leak, the event should be called Resurrection or in English “Rebirth”. A fitting name for its connection to a major new chapter for Warzone.
He also mentions that there will be a Soviet version of the Alcatraz map, which is supposed to come into play as “Rebirth Island”. This map was already featured in the last Call of Duty, Blackout, as a Battle Royale.

It is also exciting in this context that Call of Duty: Mobile is bringing the Alcatraz map for its 1st birthday. It seems that this map has significant importance within the franchise. This supports the notion that there might be some truth in the leak.
In September, the Alcatraz map leaked in connection with Warzone. Here, too, leaker TheGamingRevolution was involved. In those earlier findings, it was also believed that Alcatraz could come as part of or as an entirely new map to Warzone.
What is the Nuke Event?
What is it, anyway? For several months, hints have been accumulating in CoD that a nuclear weapon could change the game world. It is believed that the missile, upon impact, will utterly devastate part of the map, which will then be rebuilt. Other voices suggest that the nuke could make way for an entirely new Battle Royale map.
In a bunker on the map, there is a nuclear warhead. With a drone, players have already been able to view the missile in Warzone.
What are your theories about the nuke in Call of Duty: Warzone? Do you think it will tear the whole map apart and make way for the entire Alcatraz map?
