At the Red Bull event on Saturday, March 29, the streamer LetsHugo was awarded for the biggest fail of the evening for spectacularly falling into the water. However, the real prize goes to the Twitch streamer from League of Legends, NoWay. He came up with a brilliant plan to beat his opponent Merleperle in a race. He intended to use his weight advantage. But it backfired.
Here was NoWay’s plan: The task was for NoWay and Merleperle to race over an obstacle course that was situated on water.
NoWay devised a plan to use his weight by jumping up and down to destabilize the wobbly structure so much that his opponent would lose her balance and fall into the water.
Then NoWay would easily navigate the course and secure the victory for his team.
Godzilla action backfires
This is how it went in practice: While NoWay was jumping up and down, Merleperle dashed across the obstacle course and reached the finish line while NoWay’s Godzilla action had no effect.
When NoWay finally dared to try the course, he quickly ended up in the water and had to smile at himself as he waded back to shore.

I thought, I don’t want to hurt myself too, so I had a brilliant plan: I thought, I’ll jump up here because I bring weight and then she falls down and then I’ll casually walk across. And then she just balanced that out. And I looked really silly standing here.
The host judged that the thought was lovely and moved on.
Merleperle said she didn’t even notice what NoWay was doing and insisted on watching the whole thing in the replay.
LetsHugo gets bonus points for fail of the day
This was the official fail of the day: The official fail of the day and some bonus points went to the Twitch streamer LetsHugo for this fall “headfirst into the pool.”
