In Pokémon GO you can now catch Shiny Pandir since July 1st. However, there are only a few friends for the new Shiny, as no new field research has been introduced to the game.
This is what we know about Shiny Pandir: The new Shiny was announced a few days ago for July. Now it is here, and you can still obtain it only from the quest “Land 5 great curveball throws in a row.”
Field research is hated by many players, as it is quite difficult and not very often found.
No new field research in July 2019
This disappoints the players: The current quests were announced for May and June. Now players hoped for new tasks to solve in July, but they were disappointed.
This month and presumably also in August, the same field research will be available as in June.
On Reddit there is already a thread with nearly 500 upvotes, demanding that field research rotate monthly again. Many comments below agree with the thread.
Is there a new Pandir? Currently, you can encounter Pandir number 8. This Pokémon was already catchable in August 2018. Now it returns to the game and brings along its Shiny form.

How rare is Shiny Pandir? So far, there is no data on this, but it seems like Pandir is as rare as all other Shinies from quests.
Thus, Shiny Pandir could be exceptionally rare, as the quest itself is already very rare. You will also need luck, and it needs to be Shiny.
Shiny Pandir could be comparatively rare, like Shiny Lapras at the worldwide release. There, the Lapras quest was very rare and only a few players were fortunate enough to own a Shiny.
What do you think? Would you have been excited about new field research, or is Shiny Pandir enough for you?
