In Fortnite: Battle Royale, Ninja and his teammate set a record in the Duo vs. Squad category. However, two French professional gamers have now surpassed this and toppled Ninja from his throne.
What was the previous record? In the “Duo vs. Squad” category, two players compete in a match where 4-player teams are the norm. Thus, they are clearly outnumbered, as the other teams are twice as large. Nevertheless, the two players in the duo attempt to maximize their kills and prove their extraordinary skill in this way.
Previously, the record here on PC was an impressive 43 kills. This was achieved in June 2018 by the two Frenchmen Teeqzy and NokS. In September, the famous streamer Ninja along with his teammate Sypher matched this. The two also ended up with 43 kills. By the way, this was the only record that Ninja could claim so far.
French Duo Breaks World Record
How was the old record broken? Records are always a goal for aspiring competitors. Therefore, it did not take long for someone to shake the record again.
However, instead of matching like Ninja and Co., the two French players Nayte and Spk have now spectacularly broken the PC record.
The two professional players from the teams TrainHard and Team LDLC managed to net a whopping 46 kills. This means they practically took out half the player base of the round! You can see how it all looked in the game in this Twitch clip here. Enjoy!
An impressive achievement that spectacularly nullified Ninja’s only co-world record. It remains to be seen whether the popular and successful streamer or the original record holders can surpass that.
