In Red Dead Redemption 2 Online there is now a new mode: Wildlife Hunting. And this time, PvP is not involved. You should prove your hunting skills.
What is new? An update has now brought new content to the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2. This includes a Free Roam event, a game mode, and many bonuses that will earn you more money.

How Wildlife Hunting works in Red Dead Online
The new challenge Wildlife Hunting is now active. It is a Free Roam event in RDO. So always keep your eyes open to see if you are invited to it.
The special thing about Wildlife Hunting: In this challenge, you compete against other players, but only with your hunting skills. Weapons and attacks on other players are not possible – there is no PvP.
This should especially please players who complained about the lack of PvE content during the beta.
To win, you must collect the most points.
- Small animals give one point
- Medium-sized animals give two points
- Large animals give three points
You earn bonus points by taking down especially dangerous predators like wolves, cougars, or bears. They appear during the course of the challenge.

Head for the Hills in Red Dead Online – How it works
The new showdown mode in Red Dead Online is called Head for the Hills. It’s about arriving alive at a hideout.
How is it played? Alternately, players start the attempt to cross an area and ultimately reach their hideout alive.
Opponents are located on higher terrain or in hiding spots and observe the players who want to get into their houses. They try to shoot them down.
Two more game modes, Public Enemy and Sport of Kings, will come soon to Red Dead Online.
