With Odin: Valhalla Rising, we can expect an exciting MMORPG based on Norse mythology. The new trailer showcases the impressive graphics.

What can we see in the new trailer? The video for the MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising lasts only 15 seconds, but that’s enough to leave us in awe. We see a vast landscape full of meadows and forests, with a ruin visible in the distance, and a homestead seeming to stand further ahead.
Another scene shows a foggy forest settlement that resembles a distant elven realm. And the hero meets Idun, the goddess of youth and immortality, who in Norse mythology guards the tree with the golden apples. These grant the gods their eternal youth and immortality.
All of this looks like it’s straight out of paintings. Especially the landscapes and the second-to-last scene with Idun could easily be hung as a picture on the wall, as you can see in the video itself:

Where does the video come from? It is a short teaser for a larger presentation of the MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising, which will be shown on November 19.
Which engine is being used? Publisher Kakao Games explained that the Unreal Engine 4 is being used. Motion capture technologies are also employed, which ensure particularly realistic animations. These are important as you can move freely in the MMORPG. This includes swimming and climbing.
What does the MMORPG have to offer? Odin: Valhalla Rising immerses you in Norse mythology, where you can explore places like Midgard, Jotunheim, Niflheim, and Alfheim in a vast open world.
You create heroes from the classes warrior, rogue, priest, and sorceress. PvP also plays an important role. With flying mounts, it is possible to explore the world from the skies.
When will the game be released and on which platforms will it be available? A release date has not yet been announced for the MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising. We will likely learn more about it at the presentation on November 19, as well as about the game itself.
The release is planned for PC and mobile devices.
