The new raid in The Division 2 has already been defeated multiple times on PC, but for players on PS4 and Xbox One, it proves to be a tough nut to crack. Even the boss Max “Boomer” Bailey is a barrier that many teams cannot overcome. This causes frustration. Console players feel disadvantaged.
This is the problem: As the site Forbes reports, the leaderboards on PS4 and Xbox One are still empty. No team has been able to defeat the new raid in The Division 2.
While the first teams were done within 5 hours on PC, the raid has not been solved on the console platforms PS4 and Xbox One about 20 hours after it opened.

This is how players are reacting: There is currently a much-discussed post on reddit that says: “This is what the raid looks like on console.” There is only one image showing a pile of bodies.
The boss Max “Boomer” Bailey is said to be a tough nut to crack for players with a controller on PS4 and Xbox One, being nearly unbeatable.
In the comments, players express themselves partly amused, but also partly frustrated.
It is said that Massive has obviously never played the raid with a gamepad.

Massive should show how the raid is done
This is what frustrated players are saying:
Also in other threads on reddit players are expressing their anger. An apparently offended agent says he feels that the raid was clearly designed for PC. This player also mentions that his groups are failing against Boomer. It is difficult to coordinate with 8 people.
The player apparently feels challenged. He says he has spent 400 hours in The Division 2 and has a strong build. He will not be stopped by the raid – but he wishes that the difficulty of the raid is adjusted.
One in the comments urges Massive to play the raid on PS4 or Xbox One with 8 people themselves in the next State of the Game and demonstrate that the raid is solvable under these conditions.

This makes matters worse: Another problem is that it is not possible to “over-level” the current content as is possible in other games, since the gear score in The Division remains at 500 – many players have already reached this long ago. It is only possible to adjust and optimize the gear a bit.
In other games like Destiny, players often start a raid with too weak gear. However, they make up for these disadvantages in the following weeks, get better gear, and the raid becomes significantly easier.
The disadvantages of the console compared to the PC are seen in:
- difficult controls
- worse frame rates
- and harder aiming
These weaknesses will probably remain. One can be curious when a team on PS4 and Xbox One will manage to overcome these disadvantages and defeat the raid.
