Today, the Synthesis update for the space game No Man’s Sky is released, bringing a series of new features, including the ability to upgrade your spaceship.
What does Synthesis bring to the game? Synthesis is the latest update for No Man’s Sky after Beyond. The developers have come up with some new features that are being introduced now. Additionally, several bug fixes and optimizations, such as to the UI and performance, are making their way into the online game.

What are the biggest innovations? The update offers some highlights that we would like to introduce to you:
- You now have the ability to upgrade your ships at outfitting stations, provided they have not yet reached “S” class.
- It is now possible to expand the inventory of the ships.
- You can purchase a ship upgrade with nanites.
- It is possible to dismantle ships that you no longer need, collect the scrap, and reuse it.
- The terrain manipulator has been improved, allowing you to modify landscapes on planets even more easily.
- The VR mode has been expanded. You can now use the photo mode in VR and ride mounts.
- You can now directly transform found elements in the exosuit using the new Personal Refiner.
- Building bases will also be optimized to allow you to place more objects.
- The inventory will be easier to use.
With the Synthesis update, you now have the ability to improve your ships yourself, allowing you to pilot the crafts you want without having to search long for suitable ships.
