The exploration of the vast universe in the online game No Man’s Sky continues. But without warp cells, you won’t get far in the game.

Those who want to explore the universe of No Man’s Sky need a hyperdrive and of course fuel. This comes in the form of warp cells, which can either be found or crafted. Visit as many worlds as possible, because there you can discover alien monoliths. When you interact with these, a part of the game’s backstory will be revealed, and you will also receive a gift – this can sometimes be a warp cell.

Find or craft? Your choice

If you have received your Atlas Pass in the game , you can use it to open doors and chests on space stations and sometimes find a warp cell there. Always pay attention to the level of your Atlas Pass and the door or container you want to open. Both must match. “Level 2” doors can only be opened with a “Level 2” Atlas Pass and so on. Additionally, you will regularly discover an Atlas Interface during your travels, through which you can obtain warp cells.

Alternatively, you can also craft a warp cell yourself. For this, you need antimatter, which you make from an electron vapor, 50 heridium, and 20 zinc, as well as 100 thanium. While you find zinc and heridium on planets, you mine thanium from asteroids in space. Once you have gathered all the raw materials, you can craft a warp cell just like you do with other items in the game.

With the warp cell, you can then recharge your hyperdrive and continue your journey.
