In many MMOs, there are certain farming methods and clever ways to quickly obtain the coveted resources and items. In No Man’s Sky, you also need a variety of resources – and although the game has just recently been released, there are already tips and tricks on how to quickly get the objects of your desire.

Farming Units in No Man’s Sky
There are many ways to make money in the universe. One fruitful method is trading: You can trade in space stations or with various life forms you find on your journey. On planets, you will find trading posts where you can empty your inventory for Units.
Your goal is to find items that have a high trade value. However, there is a massive problem in No Man’s Sky: You can’t just say, “Go to this planet and get those items,” because each of you starts in a different corner of the universe, and you likely will never find the planet shown.
But there is a hint on how you recognize that you have found the item you are looking for: When you pick it up, the Sentinels, the guardians, the “space police,” are after you. So be careful when picking up these items. For Arekkz, these are “Albumen Pearls,” glowing spheres that are hidden in plants:
With a friend of Arekkz, who is in a different galaxy, these items are also glowing spheres. However, they are not hidden in plants and are called “Gravitino Balls.” But here, too, the guardians come into play when you pick them up. Deal with them – or flee from them.
Since an “Albumen Pearl” can be sold for 27,000 Units, you should look for planets where there are many of them – or similar items. If there is a trading post nearby, farming money becomes even easier.
In short: Look for planets where many items (apparently they are mostly glowing spheres) occur, which attract the guardians when you pick them up. If these then fetch high prices when trading, you know you are on the right track. Accumulate as many Units as you like.
