The latest trailer for No Man’s Sky has been released, which is supposed to introduce the pillars of the game just before release: The survival trailer.
In the past days and weeks, the developers at Hello Games have released short videos on YouTube that present the four main aspects of No Man’s Sky. These are Exploration, Combat, Trade, and Survival.
Now the final trailer has been released:
A Galaxy of Extremes
The gigantic galaxy in No Man’s Sky contains countless star systems. And each star system has multiple planets. The landscape, climate, and atmosphere of each planet you explore are unique and differ greatly from each other.
On one planet, the temperatures can be far below freezing, while on another you have to brave scorching heat. But not only temperatures can cause problems: some planets have radioactive radiation or a toxic climate with poisonous rain.
Such conditions can quickly kill you if you are not careful and prepared. While you are on the way toward the center of the galaxy, your endurance will be tested. An important aspect here is your equipment.
Only the Strongest Survive
On your journey, you will find various elements and resources that you can use to create new technologies to help you survive.
Whether you can withstand the climatic conditions on the planets depends on your suit, which you can enhance with technologies. This will also enable you to hold your breath longer, run faster, or jump higher.
Take care of yourselves, Travelers!
If you die – whether by the harsh climate, the laser cannon of an enemy, or the claws of a wild beast – it affects your journey.
You will lose supplies, and your technology will be damaged and unusable. Then you will need to invest time and effort until it is repaired.
If you venture back to your place of death, you can collect the valuables you lost at the time of your death.
