The space simulation No Man’s Sky has become a little more sociable.
A few days ago, initial users reported that they found a kind of “communication relay” in No Man’s Sky. It was apparently introduced with the Foundations patch.
Players can send short messages with it, like a mix of messages in a bottle and SMS. In the first messages found by players, they read something as exciting as “Boo” or “Butts”.
Sending such a message is not a big deal. However, having someone read it is more difficult. On reddit, it is advised to try in the center of the galaxy rather than at the edge.
Optimists hope: Beginning of multiplayer in No Man’s Sky
It seems that No Man’s Sky has become a little less lonely. But space is still damn vast. Optimists hope this could just be the beginning, and Hello Games will implement more multiplayer features, thus solving one of the biggest issues. However, that is probably wishful thinking.
