At the press conference yesterday held by Sony during the Paris Games Week, the approximate release period of the online game No Man’s Sky was announced.
It had already been speculated beforehand that Sony would present a surprise. According to rumors, No Man’s Sky was supposed to be released directly. However, that did not happen. The game is not ready yet. Fans will have to wait a little longer.
No Man’s Sky will be released in the summer!
However, the release window was narrowed down. The space online game is set to launch in June 2016 for Playstation 4 and PC. Additionally, the game was presented again, and a new trailer was released. No Man’s Sky still makes an excellent impression. The universe is gigantic, and there will be plenty to discover. Nevertheless, the presentation showed slightly repetitive gameplay.
As cool as it seems and as gigantic as the scope is, one gets the impression that No Man’s Sky revolves around the same elements: You explore a solar system, land on a planet, record new creatures in a database, fight against sentinels, and engage in space battles. If there isn’t more depth to it, visits to solar systems will always feel very similar… But in June, we will know more about what No Man’s Sky truly has to offer.
In any case, the game is already generating buzz: No Man’s Sky is so interesting that it will be presented on a late-night show
Release of the online game on Xbox One planned?
Microsoft also announced interest in releasing No Man’s Sky for Xbox One. They would like to negotiate a deal to bring the game to Xbox players. It is still uncertain if this will happen and when an Xbox One version of No Man’s Sky would be released. For now, the developers want to focus on the release for PC and Playstation 4.
