The upcoming space simulation No Man’s Sky will be released in August this year.
As Sean Murray, the founder of Hello Games, officially states: The dedicated space simulation from this developer studio has to be postponed to a later date in the year. Previously, the date was set for June 22.
He reports that this was not an easy decision for him. However, it was unavoidable to give the game the necessary polish in its final stages. After all, they want to deliver “something special”.
No Man’s Sky is now set to release in Europe on August 10. In North America, it will launch a day earlier.
Murray understands that this news is disappointing for the eager fans. He emphasizes: No Man’s Sky is incredibly massive and exceeds the imagination of all of us. This type of game has never been attempted before, and the team behind it is smaller than one would expect.
However, the developers hope that gamers will forgive them for this delay and still look forward to exploring the gigantic galaxy of No Man’s Sky.
