No Man’s Sky is not only coming to Xbox One; the development team at Hello Games is also working on a major update. “Next” represents the largest expansion for the online game to date.
Hello Games has already proven in the past that they can improve and develop the initially lukewarmly received space online game No Man’s Sky in the right direction with updates like Atlas Rises and Pathfinder. Now the next major update is on the way.

No Man’s Sky takes the next step
According to Hello Games founder Sean Murray, “Next”, the title of the update, represents the next step in the development of the game. It is the largest update to date and will be released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One this summer.
However, Murray does not want to reveal what Next includes just yet. He remains tight-lipped and leaves the speculation to the community.
The community is already heavily discussing what Next could bring. For many, the next logical step would be to allow interactions between players, who currently only meet in light form but cannot do anything together. Whether Next will bring this remains the big question.

The team is working hard on innovations
Sean Murray explains that the team continues to work hard to improve and expand No Man’s Sky. This is happening at a rapid pace, where many other teams would have already run out of steam. But Hello Games feels even more motivated to develop new features.
This summer, we will see what the next step for the space online game No Man’s Sky looks like.
In No Man’s Sky, wars can even take place on a meta level.
