In the space game No Man’s Sky, things are about to get really creepy! The Desolation update has been released, bringing you abandoned spaceships and aliens.
What’s new: A huge new update has been introduced in the space simulation No Man’s Sky. It’s called Desolation and gives the game a creepy setting. This is a stark contrast to the otherwise colorful worlds you can fly through.
With the update, abandoned spaceships are now appearing throughout the game world, which are not as abandoned as they seem. Aliens have settled there, or the defense system goes haywire. In the new trailer, you can see the features in action.

The trailer shows how you can enter and explore the spaceships alone or with friends. You can repeatedly see alien breeding stations, some of which are already empty. The little creatures run through the ship and can give you quite a scare.
You also have to defend yourself against the AI that is still active on the spaceship. So you can’t just rush into any room; you need to proceed wisely.
This is special: All the spaceships are procedurally generated. So you will never encounter the same spaceship during your explorations. You also need to be prepared for new dangers.
What’s else new in the update? There are several new multiplayer missions that you can master. The combat system has been optimized a bit to make it run faster.
Additionally, you can now optimize your freighter a bit more, such as with new colors.
