In No Man’s Sky, the developers are diligently working on the issues with the PC version. Currently, about 70% of these are said to be resolved.
About a week and a half ago, the space simulation launched on PS4 and PC. Although it launched on PC a few days later, there have been and continue to be the most complaints there. The game simply does not run smoothly, there are numerous performance issues, it crashes – the coolest discoveries are hardly enjoyable under such circumstances.
Therefore, the developers had to sit back down immediately and desperately look for solutions to the numerous problems. Both for PC and PS4, patches were released just a few days ago, but especially on the PC, there is still no end in sight for the bug fixes.
Meanwhile, the third patch for the PC version of No Man’s Sky has been completed. The first patch addressed AMD Phenom support, the alt-tab issue, and numerous performance bugs. The second update brought crash fixes and a solution for being stuck under the ground.
The third patch addresses further crash reports, corrupted save files, and the problem of getting stuck in space stations. All patch notes have been published via Steam, which you can view here.
These 3 patches are said by Hello Games to resolve about 70% of the reported problems that have occurred since the launch of No Man’s Sky. They are now working on the remaining 30%.
