In No Man’s Sky, a “game-breaking” exploit has been discovered that allows players to farm the rarest items in a short amount of time.
In No Man’s Sky, everything revolves around resources. You can craft items, trade – this ensures your survival. There is a wide variety of different items, some of which are more common, while others are rarer. But it is the rare items that are exciting: Because you can, for example, amass large amounts of units.
A fatal exploit has now been revealed that can significantly shorten the long search for quality items. With this bug, you can “create” more and more items, such as the rare Atlas Stones.
Eurogamer has tested this exploit. They managed to obtain five Atlas Stones in just half an hour – which usually takes easily ten times that amount of time.
It seems that another patch is needed soon, as the exploiters could otherwise gain severe “game-breaking” advantages.
We advise against exploiting this bug, which is why we will not provide any instructions for the exploit. It has to do with the ship’s inventory and can be read about in detail on the Eurogamer site.
