The new update 5.0 for No Man’s Sky was released today, on June 17th, bringing many new features to players. Fans are now reminded of Helldivers 2 with its action-packed gameplay.
What kind of game is No Man’s Sky? No Man’s Sky is an open-world game set in a science fiction universe located in a vast, procedurally generated universe. On Steam, the game now has mostly positive feedback after many years. Players explore planets, build bases, trade resources, enhance their equipment, and combat enemies.
After a disappointing launch, the game has evolved into a popular co-op title after many updates. Today, on July 17th, the free update “Worlds Part 1” has introduced new content for the game that reminds fans of Helldivers 2.

What kind of update is this? The update 5.0 for No Man’s Sky titled “Worlds Part 1” brings many innovations to the game that affect both the graphics and the gaming experience. Players can discover new worlds and biomes. Among other things, players are now supposed to find worlds with floating islands.
Water and cloud graphics are also supposed to look more realistic and better. In addition, players can fight giant insects in the new community expedition “The Liquidators” and collect new rewards.
The update also expands gameplay with new features such as customizable solar ships, improved wind and water simulation, and the ability to rename discoveries. Players can also discover new insect species and build underwater bases.
Why does the update remind of Helldivers 2? Those of you who have played Helldivers 2 might have already noticed why the new update reminds some fans of Helldivers 2.
The new expedition “The Liquidators” revolves around fighting hostile, bug-like creatures and creates an atmosphere that is reminiscent of Helldivers 2. Particularly striking is the weapon seen in the trailer, which connects to the game’s elements.
So far, the update seems to be well received by players. Many are surprised once again that version 5.0 is also a free update, as shown by the post from user DantyKSA on Reddit. He posted a meme that received over 900 upvotes and shows that he and many players would even have been willing to pay for the new expansion.
For those who can’t get enough of No Man’s Sky, the new update will help pass the time until the release of Light No Fire. Unlike its predecessor, the world is only set on a single planet, but in a huge fantasy setting.
