The announced major update Beyond for the space game No Man’s Sky is now available for PS4, Steam, and Xbox One. The patch notes are extensive, but players are excited about the new features.

Features for more players and new interactions with NPCs
What is new about multiplayer? The new patch in No Man’s Sky has changed the anomaly. It now serves as a hub to bring players together.
This means you can now embark on adventures with more friends. Depending on the platform, 8 to 32 players can now explore the world together, with only the PC version able to utilize the maximum player count.
What has been changed about NPCs? All NPCs in the space game now interact with the environment and the objects within it. This is intended to make the game more realistic.
Additionally, creatures in the world can be used as mounts or can be milked by players.
What changes with base building? There have also been many new features related to your own base, making construction more comfortable and easier. Various new elements have been added, including power and logic.
The complicated glitch-building, which was also used to create this beautiful cyberpunk city, may no longer be necessary.
What do players particularly celebrate? Three minor “quality of life” changes in the patch notes have emerged as secret favorites among players.
For one, you can now sit on chairs, which was not possible before. The Reddit user resoredo writes:
My immersion! Finally, No Man’s Sky is now in a playable state.
Additionally, the inventory size per stack has increased from 250 to 10,000. However, this currently applies only to normal mode, not survival mode, but is certainly more than welcome for explorers.
This change has been so well received that the user BourneSloth became the top comment in the Reddit thread for the patch notes.
Lastly, the mining speed has been increased. You are no longer interrupted as often, and the overheating mechanics have been revised.
Major technical adjustments
What new technical features are there? In addition to the gameplay, the technical aspects were particularly in focus with Beyond. For example, especially AMD graphics cards are expected to benefit from the update.
There are also improvements in other areas of performance and graphics:
