In the sandbox world of the space simulation No Man’s Sky, there is much to do, but little explanation. The game wants you to discover a lot on your own.
If you need a bit of assistance, we are happy to help you. For example, with antimatter. Essentially, it is the fuel you need to use your hyperdrive and travel to distant stars. It is therefore a very important resource. You will notice this early in the game. As soon as you are off the first planet, you will certainly want to make your hyperdrive. To do this, you need warp cells. To craft these, you must be in possession of antimatter.
Make Antimatter Yourself
An alien outpost nearby has this substance, so you can relatively easily obtain it in the beginning. However, your ship constantly needs fuel, which is why you must make antimatter yourself. To do this, it is necessary to find the corresponding crafting recipe. After jumping to the next star system, you will be led to an abandoned facility. There you can find the recipe in the control console.
To make antimatter yourself, you first need Electron Vapour, which you obtain from once Suspension Fluid and 100 times Plutonium. From one Electron Vapour, 20 Zinc and 50 Heridium, you will create antimatter. However, you still won’t have a fuel cell for your spaceship. You will only obtain this from once antimatter and 100 times Thamium. Of course, you also have the option of simply buying antimatter from NPC traders, but the resource is extremely expensive.
