A video has been released showing 50 different starting planets in a few minutes for No Man’s Sky.
In No Man’s Sky, you are in a vast, procedurally generated universe that boasts diversity not only in planets, climate conditions, and creatures. Each of you will have different experiences as you discover different things than your buddies – and you may be the only ones to ever see those things.
It is the same with the planet where you start. Every new explorer begins on their own world, which can be extremely different from those of other players.
Eurogamer came up with the brilliant idea to restart the game 50 times to find out how diverse the 50 starting planets will look. As you can see in the 7-minute video, the planets vary significantly – not only in the color of the atmosphere and the topography:
