Currently, news is circulating that soon current PS4 titles like Nioh and Uncharted 4 can be played on PC. However, this information is not that great. There is a fake news alert.
Currently, German and international gaming magazines are titling “Will we soon be playing Uncharted 4 on PC?”
However, there are some catches and details in the news that are being overlooked to make it seem much more important than it actually is. What happened?
Sony has announced that in a beta test for their program PlayStation Now, they will also include PS4 games. Currently, only PS3 titles are playable.

Some magazines amplify the news with headlines saying: We might soon be playing Uncharted 4, Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn, and other exclusive titles on PC. This naturally attracts attention and clicks, but has a downside: It is false.
Because in this way, some details are being overlooked:
- The service is not available in Germany.
- No PS4 games for the program have been confirmed yet.
- Why on earth would Sony release their “system sellers” like Uncharted 4, Nioh, or Horizon Zero Dawn like this and give away the exclusivity? That makes absolutely no sense. Of course, they would not do that. They would be completely insane. And anyone who thinks about it for 2 seconds will realize this.
The US site Gamespot clarifies: It can be assumed, that smaller and older games will come to the program. This means: NO current and major PS4 titles like Horizon Zero Dawn or Nioh will come to PC.
And that is how expectations for the program should be set.
Some sites therefore present this news in a much smaller and more factual manner with titles like “P$4 Games are coming to PlayStation Now” (Gamespot).
This naturally brings fewer clicks, but it’s honest.
