The proximity mine was introduced with update 12.10 in Fortnite. Professional player Ninja and some streamers tested the mine and are amazed at how powerful it is.
What kind of mine is this? The proximity mine was introduced with update 12.10 and can now be used in the game. Each mine deals 50 damage.
It can be thrown, sticks to walls/floors, and has a hidden feature that amazes some streamers. The new proximity mine fits perfectly into the agent theme of season 2 in Fortnite.
Ninja shows how cleverly he plays with the mine
Professional player Tyler “Ninja” Blevins tested the proximity mine in Fortnite. He was in a match and discovered an opponent hiding in a room.
He threw several mines through the window of the room where the opponent was located. These were triggered and dealt 2 times 50 damage to the opponent.
After that, Ninja was able to destroy the damaged roof with one blow and found himself in the same room with him. Now he just had to give him the final shot.
After this action, Ninja seemed quite proud of himself. He said: “Oh my God, I’m a genius!”
On Twitter, he posted a clip of his gameplay with the mine, with the caption: 300 IQ gameplay with the new proximity mine.
He seems to be excited about the new item as he also wrote that it would be so much fun to play with the mine.
It’s not the first time that Ninja praises himself for his gameplay:
Twitch streamers are amazed by the mine’s hidden feature
Some Twitch streamers have also tested the new proximity mine. They also seem to be excited about the new item.
One special feature seems to amaze the Twitch streamers even more. The mine not only deals damage to the opponent, but also marks them.
This means you can locate the opponent, and it works even behind walls. This feature can provide a significant advantage.
