Twitch streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is back in Fortnite: Battle Royale. Ninja seems to be enjoying the game again. However, he explains why building on PC is just stupid – unlike on consoles.
Here is the situation: Ninja is back in Fortnite after taking a few seasons off because he had nothing good to say about it. With Season 4, he seems to have found joy in the game again.
Together with his streamer colleague SypherPK, he played during a Twitch stream in duo mode until he was eliminated. The reason for his death: Apparently the slow building on PC.
I am tired of not being able to do what I need to do just because I can’t be fast enough.
Ninja in the stream
Ninja seems to be frustrated after desperately trying to build protection while being attacked by the last two opponents.
The streamer then explained that it is not fair that console players can build faster because they can adjust the sensitivity separately. This would be a feature that should have been available on PC a long time ago.
The fact that console players have a building sensitivity and PC players do not makes me feel the urge to hit something.
Ninja
What does Ninja mean by that? Here it is not directly about “building” itself, but the sensitivity that can be adjusted while building. There is a difference between PC and consoles.
On consoles, players can activate different settings for sensitivity. They can determine how fast or slow they want to aim without affecting other aspects of building. This feature was introduced in Season 6 – Chapter 1.
On PC, however, it is different because players can only set the sensitivity for the entire gameplay. If this is set high, players will notice an overall increased speed while moving, aiming, and building.
In Season 10, console players received an even more detailed expansion of sensitivity. Different areas can now be adjusted exactly as desired by the player. This should help console players hit opponents better with the controller.
