The Fortnite pro Ninja explains why Twitch streamers like Tfue harm Fortnite when they only speak negatively about it and say Fortnite is dying or is “bad”. We show you why Ninja holds this opinion.
The Fortnite pro Tyler Ninja Blevins seems to be worried that Twitch streamers with a large reach are harming Fortnite when they comment negatively about the game.
He believes it restricts the game and makes it lose relevance. Well-known Twitch streamers like Turner “Tfue” Tenney have a large fan base that often looks to the streamers for guidance.
Negative tweets even affect Ninja
What is Tfue’s opinion on Fortnite? The Twitch streamer Tfue is known for speaking rather negatively about Fortnite, even though he owes his rapid rise on Twitch to the game.
At the end of Season 10, the Twitch streamer announced that he sees the future of Fortnite bleakly. Tfue said the game would become extinct.

Why does Ninja think such negative statements would harm Fortnite? Pro Ninja was just playing a match with his team when they started discussing how well-known streamers react to issues in the game.
Ninja said he wishes that more streamers with a large reach would find more positive ways to address these issues. Because this negativity is slowly affecting him too:
“These negative statements from well-known streamers even affect me. When I see such a [negative] tweet, I also think: Yeah, maybe it is like that. Maybe Fortnite isn’t fun anymore.”
Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.
It also makes no sense to spread this sheer negativity. Ninja saw a stream from Tfue months ago where he said Fortnite was bad and dead.
Regarding this statement, Ninja said:
“You’re attracting the most viewers on this platform [Twitch] while playing Fortnite. Yet you’re saying the game is totally bad and dead. With that, you’re just dragging Fortnite down.”
Ninja on a statement by Tfue
Ninja further noted that Tfue would have as many viewers as it would take to not speak badly about Fortnite.
Ninja points out that Fortnite has made Tfue incredibly successful, but he is sawing off the branch they are all sitting on.

Why could large streamers have an influence?
Why could such statements influence the game? The big streamers known from Twitch, YouTube, or Mixer can have an influence on the relevance of a game.

Since they reach many fans who idealize them, their opinion carries significant weight.
If even Ninja, who is a well-known Fortnite streamer himself, is influenced by this, it is likely that other players will also be swayed.
Many children also watch the streamers, who then get influenced by the streamers. They think if their “idol” thinks the game is bad, then it must be so.
The paradox is: Even though the game is “dogshit”, Tfue keeps returning to it every day, with thousands watching him play a game he thinks is “stupid”.
Ninja would like his own skin in the game:
