The hardcore shooter Escape from Tarkov is still pending, but maybe the survival MMO Next Day can bridge the wait until then.
Apocalyptic, survival, role-playing… that doesn’t sound too bad. Next Day could be an interesting mix of Fallout, Escape from Tarkov, and MMO. And soon you’ll be playing. The release is scheduled for May 21 on Steam.

What is Next Day about?
- The MMO places you – similar to Escape from Tarkov – in a fictional Eastern European state
- A toxic fog has made large parts of the country uninhabitable
- You try to survive in this area
- You search for resources and weapons
- Crafting plays an important role
- There are dangers lurking everywhere – Not only NPCs, but also other players will stand in your way. PvP is an important gameplay element
- You improve your character based on skills
- You join one of several factions and slowly advance within it based on ranks
- Each faction offers you advantages and disadvantages
- You complete quests for the factions that will also lead you into attempted areas where you must survive
- In single-player mode, you play alone

Developers are committed
The early access version of Next Day is currently rated “balanced”, which is mainly due to some bugs that the developers need to fix before the planned release on May 21. The team now wants to focus on the core game and deliver regular content updates after the release. You can currently take a look at the early access version for 8.99 euros.
