In the upcoming MMO New World, you can join one of three factions and fight under their banner against other players. Which one will it be for you?
These factions are: Things are about to get serious in the new MMO New World. On September 28th at 8:00 AM, the servers will go live, and fans will flood into the game, of course, if the servers can handle the rush.
To participate in the open battles for the territories in New World, you must join one of the three factions starting at level 10. They are:
- The Marauders: a pirate-like faction that values freedom highly
- The Covenant: They resemble classical crusaders and act like purist heroes
- The Syndicate: Here reside the alchemists and mages of New World
The choice of faction is important and determines on which side you will fight in the PvP battles. You can change your affiliation, but only after 120 days.
There are no gameplay advantages or disadvantages within the factions; they are intended to be as balanced as possible according to Amazon, to guarantee fair fights.
Joining a faction does offer certain advantages, such as increased access to potions of all kinds and rewards that you earn through gathering reputation and completing special quests.
Here’s how you can vote: You can let us know in the survey tool below which of the three factions you will join or if you are still uncertain. You can vote exactly once, and the choice cannot be undone. So think it over carefully.
