A Hungarian Twitch streamer recently raided a server in New World . The inhabitants of the server called for the streamer to be banned. It apparently worked. The streamer feels cheated and says the people are jeopardizing his livelihood. Additionally, he feels offended as a Hungarian, as some seemed to think they could trample on a streamer from a small country.
This is the situation:
- We reported on MeinMMO on Sunday that the Hungarian Twitch streamer Kriszhadvice transferred his community via server transfer to the English-speaking Aquila and took over areas there.
- Players on the server accused him of destroying New World for them. It was said that he would be “zerging” on the server, as well as reporting other players and thus causing them to get banned with the help of his community.
- The streamer maintained his innocence: He said the people couldn’t defend their territory in PvP and are now trying to defend it by getting him banned. He claimed he did nothing wrong: he only reported people who had harassed him previously. He called on Amazon to support him and protect him from such allegations.
This clip shows an example of behavior that makes the streamer feel harassed. In earlier cases, he apparently reported the harassers:
“They think they can treat people from Hungary like this!”
This is the new development: As the streamer reports on Instagram (via Instagram), he has indeed been banned from New World. He received a short ban for “disturbing behavior.” But although the ban lasted only a few days, the largest streamer in Hungary is furious.
According to him, his opponents managed to pressure Amazon and get the ban issued.
The streamer feels cheated. He says that articles have already been published on news sites showing how he was “cheated” – because people have closely observed it.
He says:
“Maybe they think they can just trample on me because I am a streamer from a small country and don’t have millions of followers. They think they can treat the residents of Hungary however they want.”
Krizshadvice
He says he was banned just because of one or two fake stories and clips that were taken out of context. The ban jeopardizes his livelihood.
The Twitch streamer now expects an apology and that people will be held accountable for it.
Kriszhadvice also announced he will release a “video of truth.”
This post has also received more than 6000 likes on Instagram. His Instagram post, where he called on his community to join him in switching to the Aquila server, which they then raided, received the same number of likes.
A problem that this reveals is that in New World, the “report” system is apparently being exploited intentionally to gain advantages:
Players are currently being banned in New World so they cannot participate in wars
